Call of Duty World at War might be in a different time period to the ever popular Call of Duty 4, but one thing never changes with war, the tactics and use of weapons. IGN have been kind enough to do an in-depth review of the latest game in the franchise, and we will go over a couple of points.
IGN state that lasts years popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was an awesome game, single-player was good, but the multiplayer experience was just awesome. Call of Duty 5: World at War certainly has some big boots to fill.
Many fans of Call of Duty were not happy that the game was going back to its roots, WWII. The developer hopes to silence fans by delivering great content. Normally these WWII games would cover Normandy and D-Day, but they have been covered to death now. Instead World at War is island hopping in the Pacific.

This review is so wrong. Cod4 was terrible except for the single player. I have been playing call of duty since the first release and thank god they went back to WWII. Same opinion with everyone that I know that has been playing call of duty for as long as I have.

You are out of your mind….COD4 was and is like the best war game ever made.
The single-player was awesome and the multi-player was even better.
The only draw back is the fact that the single-player content was very short and I would have liked to play it a bit more (I loved the part where tou go back like 10 years and you are a on a mission to kill and you sneak around and stuff.)
