Call of Duty World at War Review by IGN
By: Peter Chubb | November 12, 2008 | 2 CommentsCall of Duty World at War might be in a different time period to the ever popular Call of Duty 4, but one thing never changes with war, the tactics and use of weapons. IGN have been kind enough to do an in-depth review of the latest game in the franchise, and we will go over a couple of points.
IGN state that lasts years popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was an awesome game, single-player was good, but the multiplayer experience was just awesome. Call of Duty 5: World at War certainly has some big boots to fill.
Many fans of Call of Duty were not happy that the game was going back to its roots, WWII. The developer hopes to silence fans by delivering great content. Normally these WWII games would cover Normandy and D-Day, but they have been covered to death now. Instead World at War is island hopping in the Pacific.
