Sky TV Player for non-subscribers
By: Peter Chubb | November 11, 2008 | Leave a CommentThere are a number of people who do not wish to pay the money to subscribe to Sky, one of the problems is there are too many channels and not many of them are of interest to them. Sky is to offer their Sky Player to non-subscribers.
Sky Player is only available to Sky customers at the moment, allowing them to watch Sky content online, much the BBC iPlayer. It seems as if Sky is now extending this offer for non-Sky subscribers, and should be available in the next few months.
Sky Sports is the first to be offered on the online subscription service, Sky1 as well as a number of movie channels are also in the pipeline. This is such a good move from Sky, showing that they are now thinking about quality instead of quantity.
