Europe: Sony PS3 outselling the Xbox 360

There are some shocking sales figures released by Nintendo for games consoles in Europe for 2008, it seems that the Sony PS3 is now outselling the Xbox 360. As you would expect, the Wii is still putting both consoles to shame.
10.4 million Nintendo Wii consoles have already been sold this year in Europe; April was a great time for the Wii, as they managed to shift 180,000 units. Both the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3 sold around 90,000 units.
October was a better month for the Xbox 360, as the console shifted more units than the PS3; around 60,000 were shifted, thanks to the price cut. It is not certain which out of the two consoles will fare better during the holiday season, only time will tell.
