Call of Duty 5: World of War Walkthrough

If i see the vids it’s more like cod 3 but i think that treyarch has put a long time in those missions because you probably can see much details not on those vids but definitly if i see it on my PS3.I’m gonna buy the game and we will see.

It’s just not that good. We’ve all seen the single player campaign many times before, and this outing is by far the most boring of the COD series. The multiplayer has some good maps but **** weapons. Baiscally, it’s like COD4 but no where near as good. No where near! I couldn’t even be bothered to finish the single player campaign.

i just got done playing through the campaign today and have to say im sorely dissapointed. mostly for the reason that i was expecting alot more of an epic storyline, considering treyarch was talking about how this newest entry into the COD series is the darkest. the only thing that could possibly be considered “dark” is the gore. its cod 4, without a good single player story. oh yea, and zombies.

not only is the gore supposed to represent the “dark” part but also the in-game characters personalities, like how the russian kill EVERY german and show no mercy

and its not a horrid game, its good, and the guns are WW2 guns, of course they arent the best u nimrods it was over 60 years ago

its COD4 with ww2 guns and a few extras throw in
PLUS ZOMBIE MODE IS AWESOME!!!!!!
and thers more extra stuff thats spiffy, like a Co-Op mode

im the idiot? why bcuz i, like alot of people, agree that the call of duty world at war campaign is laking in depth. also it loses alot of volume bcuz you alreayd know who wins WW2, call of duty 4 had alot more room for creativity. Call of Duty 4 had a pretty submersive story. either way multiplayer is good.

This game is amazing, online gameplay is brilliant.

when playing people online, I’ve noticed people of a much higher level being able to lie down on thier back while still shooting. does anyone know who to do this?

its called second chance…its like last stand from the last one, and you can be revived as well if someone else has the perk on. its extremly useful, and i use it as well.

Guys this is history, most of it! COD 4 was a fiction story – this shit happened.

More epic – it doesn’t get more epic then this – look guys, take a breather, go look and read up about the battles that took place there, Peleliu today is considered a meaningless battle of very little strategic importance, but it took the lives of thousands of marines! Their CO’s told them this was going to be a cake walk, 2 days tops, it took them a month to capture the whole island! Okinawa was the largest mobilization of U.S. and British Ships in history (the fleet used up more fuel then Japan imported) – come on – it doesn’t get more epic then that.

The story is gruesome and dark, if you think burning people with flamethrowers isn’t dark or brutal – then I don’t know where u live. The intro mission to the Russian Campaign is very dark, the representation of Soviet troops in Germany massacring German soldiers is just the tip of that ice berg – the Soviets went from town to town pillaging, murdering and raping innocent civilians – they believed in the maxim ‘eye for an eye’, they wanted the Germans to pay, just as they paid. “Their Blood, Their Land” – The German civilians where terrified of the Soviets. Berlin during the assault of the Soviets was like Sodom and Gomorra for the Germans, the Soviets were really brutal and vicious – this is a fact, I’m not taking sides.

Im just trying to prove a point – I think COD 5 single player campaign rocks and is very solid. The multi is also very good, but I don’t think it stands up to COD 4 – some of the weapons feel very obsolete in terms of fighting – the rifles especially – low rate of fire, not such great accuracy, not the highest damage – forces the player to use sub machine guns and heavy machine guns : ( Some of the maps feel outdated, like Castle or Asylum – it feels very clunky, tight, more like an unreal map then a cod map (I play a lot of SnD, so maybe I’m being biased). All in all, it’s a game woth your money – if you liked cod 4 and don’t mind playing the WWII period it’s a very good game and a worth successor – multi could be more innovative or have larger maps – coooooome on already – 6v6 -_- that’s getting old guys, we can do better then that : (

This game SUCKS to badly compared to 4

hey I have a question, I am playing call of duty on the hardest difficulty and I am stuck on level 6 “Burn ‘Em Out.” Once you beat all three mortars, it says to regroup in the final mortar to end the level. Is the final mortar the one with crpl. malemad and srgt. roebuck? because I walk in there and nothing happens,or is there something else you have to do before? please if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

I am stuck at the same place in the mortar pit, nothing happens when you are told to regroup, can any one help ??

yea chris i think i can. its actually happened to me. I completed the objective, and nothing happened. I think its because sometimes theres a problem or something, and it never gives you the next objective, so you just end up having to restart the lvl. thats how i got through my problem.

I’m stuck on the same level with the same problem. I think it’s because sgt. roebuck is stuck back earlier in the level at the second mortar pit. don’t think you can make him move so you just have to play through again.

Indeed, same happened to me. Restart level and don’t rush through the several mortar pits. Wait to see if there’s any enemies left (they’ll come, trust me) and move at the same pace as the sgt.

im stuck in berlin where im trying to replace the flag . plz can someone help me out

I think its a great game…BTW it is totally epic…how can storming the reichstag and having a tank battle not be epic. as opposed to a few fire fights on the streets of basra. also i love COD for its realism and research (the guns). of course the rifles have low rates of fire its WW2!! i was actually impressed at how accurate they were. in real life they probs wouldnt find their target every time!! in MOH airborne the guns are rubbish (though i think thats down to poor programing rather than realism). Its a good game…stop hating!! oh and is zombie mode only online? ive got internet problems at the mo.

im stuck on the level wer u av 2 throw a satchel charge 2 blow up da big guns bcoz i dunt av enuff satchel charges can any 1 tell me ow 2 get more satchel charges??

@Frenziedstu: you get 3 satchel charges and that’s enough. One for each bunker. If you’ve used too many for one bunker restart the level. You’re not getting any more satchels. Just throw one into the bunker, that should do the trick.

This game has a lot different speed than the cod4, it´s much more slower and more “do the right thing” (just a bit, cause cod4 has a lot of it). Pretty game, but for MP, COD4 is still better.

i think the game is ok, but it is a little short i think the campiagn can be longer, also i multiplayer is great and it is realistic, i only played cod3 and cod5 so i dont know how goood cod4 is becuse after i played cod3 which sucks when 4 came out i taught it is gonna be sucky to but it was not so i got cod5 which is ok, is you want a better storyline get gears of war 2 but if u want a longer lasting game(more multiplayer) get cod WOW

yeah cod 4 and 5 both brill, it did take some getin used to the weapons but lovin it now. the only things that bug me online are the f in ridiculous respawn places and the annoyin slow refresh on the recon plane also the dogs sometimes take 5 bullets and a knife to fin off! overall nt bad tho defo up there with cod 4 and bring on killzone 2 fa nex year

hi, this game is sick, if anyone wants to do Zombies with me then add me, and ill gladly play with them, i also discovered that you do not need to unlock zombies to play it, as long as the party leader has zombie mode then you can all play. PS, i dont have zombies so you will need to have it in order to play it with me!, bye!

yo guys found away to solve the problem on” burn them out “……i got stuck at the end of the mission on the regrouping part…….. i went to find the guy who got left behind near the second bunker and simply walked into him …then he walked to the final regrouping spot :):) anoying but solved!

There are more satchel charges in Mission Blowtorch & Corkscrew at the 2nd bunker there is a supply cratch that has a parachute over it there are more there. Its on the right side of the bunker. I was worried I had have to start all over. Veteran can be a bitch

hello i would like to say this is probably one of the best games i have played on. the people who critise the guns are generally the p90 spray bashers of cod4 who lack any real talent or skill. end of the day this game is immense and i fully enjoyed and already cant wait for 6! but i must say i do hope it goes back to modern times becuase i dont want them to destroy the world war 2 storyline

i agree i cant wait for it to go back to modern warware. i like cod 5 was getin bored of 4, but its no where near as polished as 4 the respawn places and putin you in a game where its in th last minute or when th score limits nearly reached suck .

Everyone who sais the Campain sucks is right and Halo is better so but it instead (th ecampain is wayyyy better)

i had it stick after doing the 3 mortar pit and then tried to regroup but found one of the men was back earlier on so i found him and gave him a wack with my raffle and he started moving

ok i have to agree the american campaign sucks balls. but the russians is sick espesially the sniping level. zombies and online is sick but hate the shotgunners that run around the fucking map and get tons of kills than think there good. p***** me off

I am really frustrated and in need of help. Its the mission their land their blood. I make it to the end, and beat all the objectives and go where the russians are celebrating with their arms in the air, but nothing happens, not movie, no next mission, im stuck in this environment to free roam. Seriously did i miss something. Can anyone help. Id appreciate it

wtf i have a xbox 360 and cod 5 and when i finish downfall it goes to the credits then to the zombies then r u meant to finish the zombies or something cause i quit and it said i hadnt finished the campaign so r u meant to finish the zombie thinge

wtf i need a reply sooon on the level downfall the last one on the campaign i complete it then it goes to credits then to nazi zombies so i quit out of nazi zombies and it said i hadnt finished to campaign and i also did the campaign on recruit so am i meant to do the campaign on the veteran or complete the zombie thinge after downfall to finish the campaign?
