It is almost that time of year again, yes that’s right Christmas is almost upon us. For some of us we do not get that much time to spend with our friends and family, we have to spend almost all of the holiday season in the office.

When you are stuck in your work it does not feel like Christmas at all, but there is something that you could do, just so you do not forget what time of the year it is. We have got our hands on this USB Christmas Decoration Kit, and will help to brighten up your computer.

The first thing that I had to do was, place the card in the center of the light strand, which has a gap for it to fit through. Each side should have eight LED’s, which are a mix of red and green. The sign card which reads Merry Christmas has double sided tape, so it can stick to your monitor. Then just plug them in to your USB port to light up.

There is a Merry Christmas hat, which comes flat and is an easy task to put together. The final part of your USB Christmas Decoration Kit is the Merry Christmas mouse pad. Oh sorry I forget the Christmas screen saver, which can be installed on both Windows and Mac.

I do most of my work on a laptop and had a bit of trouble getting the decoration kit to balance on, and I can see people having the same trouble with an LCD screen. It seems that this item is only good if you have a CRT monitor.

It’s a little bit early to be celebrating Christmas just yet IMO - but it does brighten up the place! Not sure if I’ll be putting one on my computer though, it might cross the line from festive to excessive.
