Apple iPhone affecting RIM BlackBerry corporate sales: enter Storm
By: Peter Chubb | November 8, 2008 | 1 CommentThe Apple iPhone has been a huge hit for consumers, but it is the corporate sector that is most shocking. It seems that the iPhone has started to make up some ground on the corporate king, RIM’s BlackBerry handsets.
There are a number of companies who are unwilling to jump ship and start using the Apple iPhone, but a few have, and it is these small steps that should worry RIM. Once Apple smell blood, they will stop at nothing until they win.
Do not think for one moment that RIM is taking this lying down, that have a secret weapon. RIM has a new BlackBerry about to hit the market, called the Storm, and it is the first touch-screen BlackBerry. That is something that the corporate world is just going to love, and that could spell disaster for the Apple iPhone.
