Palit has been working hard to try and get more clock speeds from the Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card, and they have certainly thrown all they can at it to achieve this. It seems as if that hard work has paid off, because Palit has managed to overclock the GPU from 750MHz to a massive 3800MHz DDR5 memory speed.
The Palit Radeon HD 4870 X2 comes packed with dual premium GPUs, the result, the ultimate in gaming performance. The GPU really is pushing gaming to the limit, and the engineers have done this by developing a great power management system as well as an effective cooling system.
Palit has now laid down the gauntlet, and it will be a hard job to take up the challenge, that is if there is anyone out there willing to challenge. Could this be the best overclocked GPU on the market?
