Microsoft will have to reduce their four Windows-compatible logos, which was responsible for not only confusing people, but also as there was a class action lawsuit against it. The logos have now gone down to a single system.
Now when partners want to see the compatibility with Windows 7, the successor to Vista, they only need to navigate one certification program. Consumers only need to look at a single sticker on their PCs, software and also their peripherals.
Microsoft’s current stickers which are four in total and programs that certify PCs are able to run on Windows Vista or Windows Vista “basic” will now be scrapped. As yet there are no details as to what the new single sticker will look like.
