Rumor: Sony PlayStation Home Release Date

hmmmm sony said the release date was november 19….. and now there making a new beta ….. does sony ever know wats goin on????

I’ve given up on HOME !!!!

Tired of waiting for the application that I thought would be a sucess. Sometimes I want to say **** YOU SONY FOR MAKING US WAIT THIS LONG AND STILL NO RELEASE DATE. The only excuse they could come up with is “its still in beta”. Well if you let us experiment on it a bit then maybe the program would be more stable. Its all of the the news “Playstation 3 is the trailing xbox 360 in sales.” I used to love the playstation. You know what $50 for xbox live is worth it. I am tired of defending sony, because their is nothing to defend now.

I officially dont care about home anymore i mean they keep delaying it no one will care when it comes out. i mean atleast i will probably cause ive waited to long. ill wait till november 19th if it isnt then….then idc what happens with this thing

You know, I’ve read these comments of you people bitching and whining ‘Oh it’s been pushed back’ or ‘I don’t care about home anymore’. Do you people do the same thing when games release dates are pushed back? I can name two big name games that have been pushed back in release dates, the first is Killzone 2, it was set to be released in 2008 now it’s not coming out until 2009, do you think that’s going to make anyone go? ‘Oh they keep pushing it back I’m not buying it’, no because it’s been so hyped up and anticipated that people will wait. Second game, not pushed back as far but Resistance 2, the release date was pushed back by 3 weeks, people didn’t care. So for all you little kids or people who don’t or won’t get their heads out their asses to realise that the release date for Home is pushed back is to make sure it works properly and pleases the users, but apparently you people would like to have a half assed finish product so you can bitch about the fact it wasn’t ready butthen when you don’t get it you bitch that you want it. All in all, learn some patience, shut up and wait.

I’m just tired I waiting but I agree with the guy above me just wait or do u want it with huge glitch ups to complain about?? I don’t know just wait don’t forget it free. Whatever

i agree with the theo they want to tweak every little problem such as lags dissconnection etc on home they want to make sure your experience on home is amazing maybe you should just sit and be patient and wait atleast there taking there time wereas boody microsoft have released it in like 5 days lol ps3 all da way my psn:timesplitter92

i can wait for home, but the point is the fact that they have been working on it for 2 years, and they keep giving release dates then delaying them

They have made us wait too long. If its not out out tonight, we should overthrow Sony. They’re just dicking us around now.

PS3 is taking their time on Home, but that’s good for lots of reasons. They will soon beat Xbox Live, they are making sure there isn’t any bugs or any problems. If you want it quicker, then you may have to pay for it. But you shouldn’t be so damn selfish. Live isn’t all that anyway… I played it.

It will be released sometime in December – January.
The Home Beta is available to download now, you gotta purchase Qore annual Subscription. Make sure you do NOT download Eposides. Get the full year, and they will send you an e-mail to place the serial into [Account Management] and be able to download it.

i have the home beta it has only 4 scenes its kind of boring i hope they release the full home

playstation is way better than xbox online is free plus you wont get the red light of death. I completely agree what theo said in his comment i would rather home be at it’s best and wait then have home rushed and be crap. people don’t even realize how much playstation has catered to are wants people are acting like spoiled brats. patience is a virtue

I agree with Theo they just want to fix everything, so what they have been working on it for a long time. But dude it is not that easy working on something like that. And you are all bit**ing aboout the release date, oh I am going to buy the fucking xbox 360, dude what would you have done if sony wouldn’t have announced HOME nothing!!!!! you would have just been doing your normal life and not thinking about buying the xbox 360. So forget about the release date wait for it to rerlease.

evryone that is comparing the ps3 to the xbox has not played both for a period of time. i own both and i can tell you the both has their ups and downs.
example. the ps3 is free to play online and has a blue ray player. the xbox you can chat with friends when they are playing another game and now you can play your netflix over the xbox.
ps3 comes with a rechargable controller and the xbox you have to buy a pack.
what i am trying to say is that i enjoy both the ps3 and the xbox because there are games that are great games that are exclusive for their console.
and yes i am upset that playstation keeps moving back the date for home but they are trying to make the best product that they can.

It is absolutly coming out in December becuase a main person at Sony said open beta is released in December not most likely he will now look like a fool if it doesn’t. If u don’t belive me search ps home release christmas in google.

I just downloaded the update and I found that I have the open beta and I am playing with it and it seems way cooler than ANYTHING I have ever messed with gaming wise. I have seen what is in store for the PS3 users and I say that you have no clue what is in store for you. I don’t mind that they held this thing back. they are amking one of the greatest free apps that I have ever experienced. This is all coming from a guy that “didn’t care” about Home. Just wait and you’ll see why they have taken this long.
