Freesat launches Five on November 18
By: Peter Chubb | November 5, 2008 | Leave a CommentFreesat is proud to announce the addition of Five on their free-to-air digital satellite TV service, which will be made available from Tuesday, November 18th. Five will join the other 140 or so channels that are already available without subscription on Freesat.
It is great to see that Freesat is commented to offering more channels to their service, hopefully in time other great channels will be made available for customers. I do not have a Freesat box, but I was at the Stuff Live event on Friday, and one of the people on the Freesat stand was more than happy to show me what their product can do.
I have to say that I was blown away with the technology being used. I would like to point out that Sky has better channels, but as for the technology involved, Freesat wins, hands down. It seems that Sky is happy to take your money just to offer you better programs, but it is nice to see that Freesat are trying to do both, offer great channels and the latest technology.
