Touch-screen for Eee PC 900/901 and Aspire One
By: Peter Chubb | November 4, 2008 | Leave a CommentTwo of the hottest netbooks on the market has to be the Acer Aspire One, and the Eee PC 900/901. Both are fun, cheap and do their job well, but there is something else that could help to improve both netbooks.
How would you like to convert one of them in to a touch-screen, well you can with a solder-less DIY touch-screen kit. It is easy to do and then makes the netbooks even better than before, which is a feat in itself.
The DIY kit is a 4-wire; resistive panel display comes with Mac, Linux, and Windows drivers, to make the install process easy. The panel costs $96, we will just have to wait and see how good the DIY touch screen performs.
