RIM BlackBerry Storm: from keyboard to touch screen

At first most RIM Blackberry users and other cell phone owners wanted to know about the BlackBerry Storm specs, price, and release date but now things have focused more on device suitability.

They ask themselves: Is it a good idea to upgrade to the Blackberry Storm? Especially when they have an existing smartphone like the BlackBerry Curve.

This decision will depend largely on whether the phone user can live without a tactile keyboard, the Storm is the first Blackberry to have a touch screen and this may be a big change for some existing BlackBerry owners.

Having a touch screen display has its pros and cons, although having used the iPhone for a while I would say the touch screen is faster than a keyboard but that’s just opinion. It will depend on how well you adjust to a touch screen from a sold keyboard. Would you upgrade to the Blackberry Storm?

Absolutely. I currently have the iPhone and iTouch not forgetting the Blackberry Pearl. I have been following the BB Storm for a number of weeks now. The Storm with touch screen will be a breath of fresh air and a big talking point also. Try typing for hours on a small Blackberry!
