Mozilla are now showing that Firefox is not just another browser that wants to have a small share of the market place. Firefox are now closing in on the 20 percent market share, a direct result of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer losing favor with people.
Firefox has been aiming for the 20 percent market share for some time now, back in July they jumped over that target a few times. Since then Mozilla have noticed that their web browser was continually hitting near the 20 percent target.
Firefox’s market share is at 19.97 for October, this was up 0.51 percent from September. If things keep going that way, then next month Firefox will hit the magic 20 percent target again. It is a different story for IE though, the OS has dropped from 71.52% to 71.27%,.
