When we heard that EA had put Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 “On Hold” for the Sony PS3, it was a little disappointing because the Playstation 3 lacks games like this.
Gamers who are to move from a PC to PS3 need good strategy games like Age of Empires and Command & Conquer, so this game is one of the most needed for the PS3 right now to cater for gamers that love these games and do not have anything close currently on the PS3.
Today we have good news; it looks like things are “All Go” again with EA and Red Alert 3. Better than that, producer and C&C TV presenter David Silverman has confirmed that the game is on and will have “some really cool things”.
In a conversation with Video Gamer, David Silverman said the PS3 version would make the most of the extra space on a Blu-Ray, and the 1080p resolution, which is not possible on the Xbox 360. So it looks like the PS3 version of Red Alert 3 may be the best of them all.

That’s some good news. C&C was the main reason I bought a 360, which ended up being a bit disappointing (with all the screen tearing (frame-rate) issues).
Wow. I don’t mean to sound too evil but I am glad to hear that the Xbox has a game with frame rate issues.
I am glad that a big developer will make use of blu ray space and differentiate the PS3 version from the Xbox 360 version of the game.
