Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff was on stage yesterday for his Dremforce conference, he used the opportunity to talk about a number of alliances that he has going on with his Cloud Computing Company. He has joined forces with a number of major companies; these include Amazon, Facebook, Harrah’s casinos in Las Vega, as well as Starbucks.
For those who might have fell asleep at the keynote, then Benioff had a secret weapon, he was joined on stage by rocker, Neil Young. Salesforce.com specializes in software to help run corporate sales and marketing programs. The software is used over the Internet, so is cloud based.
Marc Benioff has said that it is now possible for any developer to write software for his company, which runs on the Internet. Cloud software is the future, this not only helps to free up space on your computer at home or in the office, but also offers huge savings.
