BlackBerry Storm GSM-only version cleared by FCC

There is not long to go until consumers in North America are able to get their dirty little hands on the new BlackBerry Storm from RIM. Do not get excited over this boring bit of news, but we do need to report it.

It seems as if the not so secret GSM-only version of the BlackBerry Storm has passed an important hurdle, and that is to get its FCC approval. For those of you, who did find this interesting, then head over to FCC for all the test results.

Well if you was hoping to get a nice Christmas present this year, looks like your family member will be spending a little less on you. The reason is that they will want to put a huge chunk of their money down on the BlackBerry Storm.
