Apple MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed
Filed under: Computers, Laptops

Those guys at PC Magazine Labs have got themselves a new Apple MacBook Pro, and have also got a copy of an early build of Windows 7. With the two them in the office, they decided to attempt to run the both of them together.
They used Bootcamp to run a clean install of the new OS over the top of Vista, which they already had running on the MacBook pro. They were not able to simply upgrade it as the MacBook was not running SP1.
Looking at the pictures, you will notice that this early build of Windows 7 looks a lot like Vista. PC Magazine Labs noted how easily the software installed on to the Apple MacBook Pro. Once the Operating System was installed, they then began to install all the drivers from the Apple OS X disc.
