Those clever guys, the Dev-Team have been working hard to try and jailbreak the iPhone 2.2 firmware, and the fruits of all that hard work has paid off. The Dev-Team has now jailbroken the Apple software.
This is the second beta version of firmware update 2.2 and has only been out for just a few days, so it was a surprise that the Dev-Team were able to crack the software so quickly. This means that all the hard work that Apple has been doing still shows that they have a weakness when it comes to pwnage jailbreak and unlock.
I am an iPhone owner and I just do not see why people would want to jailbreak their handsets, I would worry that whatever I do would cause a number of problems for the handset, as well as void the warranty. Something that you should think about before you go ahead and try to jailbreak your phone.

Can’t wait for this firmware to be released. When I first got my first iPhone I used to worry about voiding it’s warranty but now I don’t even sweat it and I have a 16GB iPhone 3G now, I figured nothing went wrong in the past so I guess its ok now.
if your so worried about your phone and others well being, why would you post the latest dev team news? ,and i can tell you its not hard at all when your three step pwnage tool program does all the work ,so its worth it you should give it a try
The warranty isn’t affected as you can always come back to the original firmware and there are some totally vital applications that don’t exist in the appstore. A video recorder application, tethering application, etc.
