iPhone OS 2.2 Firmware Jailbreak by Dev-Team
By: Peter Chubb | November 3, 2008 | 3 CommentsThose clever guys, the Dev-Team have been working hard to try and jailbreak the iPhone 2.2 firmware, and the fruits of all that hard work has paid off. The Dev-Team has now jailbroken the Apple software.
This is the second beta version of firmware update 2.2 and has only been out for just a few days, so it was a surprise that the Dev-Team were able to crack the software so quickly. This means that all the hard work that Apple has been doing still shows that they have a weakness when it comes to pwnage jailbreak and unlock.
I am an iPhone owner and I just do not see why people would want to jailbreak their handsets, I would worry that whatever I do would cause a number of problems for the handset, as well as void the warranty. Something that you should think about before you go ahead and try to jailbreak your phone.
