Gears of War 2 Review
By: Peter Chubb | November 3, 2008 | Leave a CommentWith just days to go until the release of Gear of War 2 on the Xbox 360, there is no better time for a review of the game, just to see if it is worth the wait and to part with some money. The sequel to one of the most popular games on the Xbox 360 is back, the developer has done a great job on this third person action shooter.
The Gears of War 2 storyline has been greatly improved, as there are now two. One is for Markus and the other for dom. Both stories sit well, and Dom’s does not detract from the main storyline. The sequel is like the previous game, and has been broken up it to five acts, which takes you to a number of locations.
Each of these has their own unique feel and style, and flows seamlessly from one to the next. There are a few new weapons in Gears of War 2, like the flame thrower and the motoar, but are only used a few times throughout the game.
