BlackBerry Storm and Verizon’s New Data Plans
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

With the BlackBerry Storm’s release date this month, it looks like Verizon is about to add some more action to the month other than RIM’s latest smartphone.
Blogs and technology sites are alight with rumor that Verizon will be launching new data plans on November 14, these documents apparently leaked onto the Howard forums show PaysAsYou Go data plans being eliminated.
How will these new data plans affect the BlackBerry Storm? It seems that new smartphones will be prevented from having Pay As You Go, a 10MB data plan or 1X Block after November 14, 2008. This also means new devices will require a data plan of $29.99 or more.
The new BlackBerry Storm will be highly subsidized and this helps with ending Pay As You Go data access. You can read more details here.
What do you make of this and how would it affect you?
