If you are an AT&T customer, then chances are you would have already received an SMS letting you know that the free Wi-Fi access in Starbucks for your iPhone and any other phone with built-in WiFi that you were once able to enjoy for free is back. The free Wi-Fi service was announced back in February, and was due to be up and running in the spring.
The free service in Starbucks has been running, but the service has been off and on since April, with users not knowing from one day to the next if they will still get the free Wi-Fi access. The service allowed for you to have up to two hours of free Wi-Fi access in Starbucks stores or any AT&T hotspot.
Since April the service has been available one minute, and then turned off the next, but AT&T has now made the service official and has said that the service is now working. Have you had your SMS yet, letting you know that you now have free Wi-Fi access in Starbucks, let us know.
