New 60GB Xbox Live Starter Pack

Remember those rumors of the 60GB HDD Live starter pack, well they are true and you can now pre-order yours now. The starter pack comes with the 60GB hard drive as well as a 3 month subscription to Xbox Live. Also in the pack is a wired headset and Ethernet cable.

The starter pack will cost $99, which seems a bit steep to me. This has to be the easiest way to get into Xbox Live. Having the 60GB hard drive allows you to download content, in the knowledge that you not have enough storage space.

Having the headset allows you to enjoy online multiplayer games, such as Halo 3 and call of Duty 4. You can also rip music to your Xbox 360 hard drive, and use it as your entertainment system.
