Comcast Email and Webmail Problems

Back on May 29 2008 we reported that the Comcast Email service had been hacked, who would have thought that five months down the line users are still having security issues with the Comcast Email and Webmail service.
Users are worried as their personal info is filed into email folders, even when they phone up the support team, they do not get any reassurance. It seems that if you phone them up, you are left knowing much less than you did before, yes it seems that Comcast are vague.
However that is just one persons view, the support team has been able to help a number of other users. One guy was not able to read his emails for over two weeks, but since speaking to a tech guy, all of his emails were made available to him.

I PAY MY BILL YESTURDAY IN MY CABLE AND INTERNET IS STILL NOT ON CAN PLEASE CUT IT ON TODAY AND EMAIL ME.
I just spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with a “tekkie” and Comcast still can’t tell me where my emails are. None that I send to myself are showing up in WebMail and I haven’t received any new emails in over six hours. That tells me their server is not picking them up. Period. I have tried on two different computers so I know the problem is theirs. Yet they want me to wait as long as 72 hours to get help. I’m going back to Earthlink. At least their “tekkies” knew something about emails.
Since July 29, 2009, I have not been able to down load my email…It keeps asking me to type in my password. I type the correct one in and it won’t let me get my mail. I have tried everything I can think of.Please help.
