ASUS 1002HA 10-inch Eee PC: is it a netbook or laptop?
By: Peter Chubb | October 29, 2008 | Leave a CommentWe heard rumors that ASUS were releasing yet another new Eee PC, and we can now tell you that it is the 10-inch 1002HA. It seems that ASUS wants to flood the market, which is why every five minutes they seem to launch a new model.
The new ASUS 1002HA Eee PC is having a bit of an identity crisis, as it does not know if it is still a netbook, or if it has grown in to a laptop. The problem that this new model has is, it is not as portable as the first Eee PC’s and it does not have the same performance as the high end laptops, so in effect it is stuck in limbo.
The new Asus 10-inch 1002HA Eee PC has a sleek black finish, and is powered by the 1.6GHz Atom processor. Storage comes in the form of a 160GB hard drive. Do not expect anything special from this new model. The price is expected to be around the £300 mark.
