So you now have your new T-Mobile G1 Google Android phone, but you are still waiting for the RC28 update. Well it seems that one reader has got one up one most other G1 owners, by getting hold of a newer software update, RC29.
The guy was called KoSoVaR and after receiving his over-the-air software he rebooted his G1 only to find that the update was much newer than all the other updates that people are waiting on.
It is not known what update RC29 fixes, but we will let you know once we get any news. As we were writing this post, Engadget have said that someone else has now been given update RC29. Hopefully we will know a lot more soon.
