So you have a choice of paying $299.99 for the BlackBerry Bold on an AT&T contact, but many people do not want to go for that option. They either do not want to renew or sign up for a new contract, but there is another alternative.

We have all been waiting for what the price would be for the BlackBerry Bold for just the handset, but you had better brace yourself. You can get a contract free Bold on pre-order at Best Buy for $659.99.

Best Buy say that the latest handset from RIM will ship out in one to two weeks, but that is not a guarantee. So you have been waiting for what seems like a lifetime for the BlackBerry Bold to hit the stores, now that it is here, are you a bit upset with the high price tag?
