Sony PS3 now selling more games than Xbox 360

When the Sony PS3 was first launched it did not get off to a great start, as there were not many titles on offer. How times have changed, as the PlayStation 3 is now becoming the better option for game developers, as it offers them the chance to earn a greater profit.

Even though the Sony PS3 has a smaller install base, they are still selling more games the Xbox 360. If that was not bad news, big developers like Konami, Namco Bandi and Ubisoft have joined the likes of EA and agree that the Sony PS3 is the better option over the 360 for earning more profit.

Although the Xbox 360 has over 5 million more units sold, the PS3 performs more efficiently with the sales that they have with third party publishers. It looks as though PS3 games have been building up slowly, and have crept up on the Xbox 360.

    Mog,

    That link you posted does have a source - this article.

    LOL. Nice to see this Sony biased blog making up more rubbish. Selling more software? Now we all know that’s a lie. The article you got your ‘news’ from is talking about revenue from a few publishers, not total sales.

    There are also no official figures to back this up. The website just sources itself.

    How can the source for that article be this one?

    This one doesn’t have any statistics at all xD

    @Mog.

    You’ve got me, but it lists this article as the source nonetheless. It’s almost as though someone made it all up, and then other websites picked up on the fabrication, and reprinted it.

    No, that couldn’t be. The internet would never do that.

    Don’t break my perfect little bubble world, I like to think the internet never lies except when under threat, xD

    But, you must respect the internet, dreams can be made and just as easily shattered wherever the world wide web is involved.

    As Dave Gorman quite correctly said:

    “My computer is attached to the internet. The internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don’t know about you, but I find everything in the whole wide world ever to be a bit distracting!”

    I know thats not really related to anything were talking about but I felt I must add it in anyways xD
