Sony PlayStation 3 Increases 3rd Party Support in 2009

For Sony PS3 fans who are hoping for more titles to become available on the games console, 2009 fwill be a better year for you. Sony has said that they are to increase 3rd party support in 2009. The end of 2008 has shown good signs of this support, with the release of Bioshock.

Games like Bioshock is much better on the Xbox 360, that is because it is easier to program on the 360. It is so annoying that developers spend a long time to bring games to the PS3, which means that Xbox 360 users get to enjoy the game much sooner than PlayStation 3 users.

It does seem a shame that many games that have made the transition from Xbox 360 to Sony PS3 is not an easy one. Just take a look at Bioshock, the game is not able to fully use 100 percent of the power of the PS3, but hopefully that will all change in 2009.

Poor Sony - the good stuff is always just around the corner. At least you guys get to play Bioshock now. I am replaying it myself. Great game.

Ooo, this should open a lot more up for the PS3 for development and making it a better console. This is where it’s lacking at the minute really.
