Poor Fiat sales postpones Alfa Romeo U.S. return
By: Peter Chubb | October 27, 2008 | 1 CommentThings were looking good for the Alfa Romeo to make a return to the U.S, but it seems like the stylish cars are to be postpones. Three cars are to be postponed until 2011, the 159, 149 and the Brera.
It is not all bad though, you were still able to get your hands on the Alfa 8C Competizione through a group of Maserati dealerships; however they have no all been sold. With the Alfa 8C Competizione selling out so quickly, it does show that there is still a huge market for Alfa Romeo’s in the United States.
The reason that these models have now been postponed is a direct result of parent company, Fiat’s poor sales figures. Are you upset that Fiat have postpone the re-launch of Alfa Romeo in the U.S.?
