New Verizon Phones: Omnia, Renown, Touch Pro, and Saga
By: Peter Chubb | October 27, 2008 | Leave a CommentIt seems that Verizon wants to bring smiles to all of our faces this Christmas, which is why they are launching a number of new handsets in time for the holiday season. There are four new phones being released from the carrier, these are the Samsung OMNIA SCH-i910, Renown, Touch Pro, and Saga.
The new Samsung OMNIA SCH-i910 is almost the same as the GSM version, the Widgets re on the homescreen. Looking at the features list, things do look pretty much the same. The Touch Pro or Verizon Wireless XV6850 is the successor to the XV6800 and features a 3.2MP camera and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1.
The Samsung Saga SCH-i770 is the third new mobile to run on Windows Mobile 6.1. This phone only comes with a basic 2 megapixel camera. Samsung Renown SCH-U810 is a clamshell cell phone and also has a 2 megapixel camera. The handset also comes with Stereo Bluetooth.
