HP’s Mini 1000 Netbook

Recently Amazon started to drop the price of their HP Mini-note, this sparked of a number of rumors that HP were about to launch something new in their lineup. Well with the launch of the new HP Mini 1000 Netbook, those rumors have now been proved right.

The HP Mini 1000 netbook has now appeared on HP’s shopping page and has a $399 starting price. There is not much to go on at the moment, but from what is known the new netbook looks to have a 10 Inch screen and will weigh 2.25 pounds.

As yet there are no spec details, the CPU has got most people guessing as we do not know which chip HP has gone for in their new netbook. The older Mini-note used a VIA C7-M, so we are hoping for something better than that.
