First look at Windows 7 with GPS acceleration
Filed under: Computers, Software

Windows 7 has got a huge weight on its shoulders, as it has to be able to do two things, one to be better than Vista and the second, to prove that Microsoft have not lost their edge. Microsoft will be giving developers a first glimpse of Windows 7 at PDC 2008.
Microsoft will show developers the core components to what the new OS has to offer. So far Microsoft has not said that the new Operating System is going to be the next big thing, they have gone for the understated approach, which is what they should have done with Vista.
Microsoft does hope that Windows 7 will be good enough to get them back on track, following the huge failure of Vista. One thing that Windows 7 has up its sleeve that could help it becomes a good OS, and that is GPS acceleration.
