Amazon Kindle e-Book Reader Helped by Oprah Winfrey

The Kindle e-Book Reader is sure to do well with a name like Amazon behind it, but you need something extra when going against the Sony Reader.

Today we have heard that Oprah Winfrey has gave her backing to the Amazon Kindle e-Book reader, and with Oprah being the biggest name in Talk Shows, this could do big things for Kindle.

It’s one thing having Kindle plastered all over Amazon, but tapping into another massive consumer base by getting Oprah Winfrey to endorse Kindle is fantastic.

The popular talk-show host went as far to call the Kindle reader her “favorite new gadget”, the statement was made on Oprah’s Web site. Amazon knows what this can do for Kindle so they had a video Ad on the Amazon home page promoting Oprah’s endorsement.

    Hey I was looking for the $50.00 off coupon to get a Kindle, like Mr. Bezos said would be om Prah’s page. I was also wondering I know that Oprah get’s this all day long but I was wondering if she had an extra one that she could give away. I simply can’t afford the kindle. But I would like one I honestlyy haven’t read a book in a long time but wanted to get back into it it’s also something about new toys that get’s you motivated. I’m a single back female living check to check and can’t afford to purchase the kindle is it possible to get one for free please.
