Nintendo Wii Update Stops Homebrew

If you were a fan of Homebrew, looks like Nintendo have crushed your dreams. The new Nintendo Wii update has now blocked new installations; however new installs have not been affected by the software update.

It is not just Homebrew that has been affected by the Nintendo Wii update; it is anything that is fakesigned. It now seems that Nintendo has become more vigilant, and is a direct response to the real threat that was posed by the Wii Backup Loader to run pirated Wii games.

This is not the first time that homebrew developers have faced this problem; it is only a matter of time before they get round the problem. It is a constant war between Nintendo and Homebrew.

So it blocks new installations but new installs will not be affected? Sure makes a lot of sense…

By the way, that was being sarcastic. Fix your post.
