Nintendo Wii Update Stops Homebrew
By: Peter Chubb | October 24, 2008 | 2 CommentsIf you were a fan of Homebrew, looks like Nintendo have crushed your dreams. The new Nintendo Wii update has now blocked new installations; however new installs have not been affected by the software update.
It is not just Homebrew that has been affected by the Nintendo Wii update; it is anything that is fakesigned. It now seems that Nintendo has become more vigilant, and is a direct response to the real threat that was posed by the Wii Backup Loader to run pirated Wii games.
