USI is to launch the world’s thinnest Mobile Internet Device (MID), called USI MID-160. The new device will be based on the Intel Atom processor; this shows how great USI are at developing miniature technology.
The MID-160 has a 5 inch screen with a 800×480 pixel touch screen. The screen has 167,000 colors, which is a great achievement from something so small. The USI MID-160 weighs in at 250 grams and is just 1.5cm thick.
The Mobile Internet Device comes with an 8GB SSD, and comes complete with a microphone as well as instant communication software. The USI MID-160 comes complete with dual-band WiFi/WiMAX module, and an option for a 3G module.
