RIM does a Palm, teams with DeviceAnywhere for BlackBerry Application
By: Peter Chubb | October 23, 2008 | Leave a CommentAs we know a while back Palm teamed up with DeviceAnywhere, so they could open up their Virtual Developer Lab. It seems that RIM is doing the same thing, as they too are teaming up with DeviceAnywhere to help bring applications to their BlackBerry lineup.
RIM and DeviceAnywhere will work together so that outside developers can test their applications on just one system, which will represent 100 models of Blackberry handset on 16 different networks.
RIM is now working with more than 100,000 developers to try and create apps, for a range of different uses, including navigation and gaming. It was only a matter of time before RIM did something like this, considering that they have pressure from not only Apple, but Google as well with the launch of the new G1 handset.
