There is no denying that one of the greatest features of the new range of Apple notebooks has to be the Nvidia GeForce 9400M GPU. The performance increase is said to be 5X the performance of the Intel X4500HD integrated graphics, which was in their older notebooks.
It was obvious that Apple was not going to be the only notebook maker to benefit from these GPU’s. There are reports that five other notebooks on will get to use the Apple preferred GPU. As these graphics cards are more efficient, not only are the graphics improved, but also battery life is extended.
This new deal with five other notebooks is said to take a 30 percent share of Intel’s market. Intel have responded by saying that their products offer significant performance, and are working hard to win back the business.
