Microsoft Silverlight boss: applicable to business apps

Scott Guthrie, the boss behind Microsoft’s Silverlight has been delivering a keynote speech at this year’s at AJAXWorld RIA Conference & Expo. Guthrie and his team have been working with AJAX developers, to help build us great Web experiences.

Microsoft Silverlight 2 was launched on October 13, you would have thought that Scott Guthrie would have had a lot to do with his time, but it show the commitment that he and his team are with AJAX.

While at the AJAXWorld RIA Conference & Expo, Scott Guthrie said that Silverlight is not just for entertainment and sports, but is also applicable to business apps. Silverlight was used to stream coverage of the 200 Beijing Olympics for NBC, and was a huge success.
