Laptops were thought to be the future but times are changing fast in the world of technology, so now it is Mobile Internet Devices which will shape our future. One such MID is Intel’s Moorestown, who is working with Ericsson to offer HSPA support.
The Intel Moorestown still has a long way to go, as it will not be released until 2009 or 2010. The new MID will be powered by the Intel Atom processor and will offer Internet speeds greater than many devices on the market so far.
The Moorestown will have both WiMax and HSPA support, giving the users more of a choice. Ericsson is now in the developing process, so they are able to optimize their wireless technologies for Intel’s device.
