IMID 2008: LG double-sided LCD screen

LG have been showing one of their new devices at IMID 2008, it is a double-sided LCD screen. The display has a 15 inch screen and has a 14:1 contrast ratio, which has been getting a lot of interest from the gadget lovers at the conference.
For those of you who thought that LG have just stuck two LCD displays side-by-side, you would be wrong. LG have developed a new screen which will show the image on both sides of the screen, but using just one display.
On a personal note, I just can’t see the two sided LG screen taking off in our homes; however it could be great for gaming. The LG double-sided display would be perfect for business presentations.
Why on Earth would you want a see through LCD Screen?
