By: Peter Chubb | October 18, 2008 | 1 CommentMozilla have now made Fennec, their new mobile browser available as a public download. Mozilla have taken a strange decision to release the mobile browser two versions, one for PC and the other for Macs.
Keeping with the Firefox tradition, Mozilla have codenamed the new mobile browser “Fennec, this is a small fox that lives in the Sahara Desert and is known for its large ears. The new mobile browser has been made using the same Gecko code; this is what is behind the latest Firefox 3.1 beta browser.
Fennec has been made available for cell phones, but also the Nokia N810 tablet, as well as versions for desktops and laptops running Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
