Hollywood’s hottest celebrities have launched the world’s first Google Android powered cell phone, the new T-Mobile G1 phone. The events included the likes of Nick Cannon, Mischa Barton, Molly Sims, Anthony Anderson, Rosario Dawson, and many more.
T-Mobile USA, Inc. in partnership with Google has launched the first Android-powered phone at invite-only launch events in Hollywood on October 17 and New York on October 16.
The event showcased the T-Mobile G1’s unique applications and technology, which was given to celebrities at the events for a hands-on. The event also saw the likes of Perez Hilton and Nikki Reed who visited their favorite destinations on the G1 phone thanks to Google Maps Street View.
This was a great marketing idea from T-Mobile and Google, because we know that what the celebrities wear and use will be duplicated by their fans in the real world. Do you like the T-Mobile G1 and have you ordered it yet?

Man this PHONE ROCKS!!
I’ve ordered 9 of them for myself, my family, and a couple of my employees. I could care less about comparing it with the iphone, the fact is that if this phone needs anything it can be downloaded..that makes this phone infinite…meaning it won’t be outdated a year from now and no need to upgrade all the time. Oh a new app? Just go on your phone and download it! The only thing it’s lacking is multi touch..but that isn’t a big deal as it does have a zoom feature.
I’m highly anticipating it’s arrival November 10th.
And I love the fact it has a keyboard!!
If these are Hollywood’s “hottest celebrities”, why have I not heard any of their names before?
These sound like a bunch of B-actors to me. But still, unlike these so called hot celebrities, the G1 is original and will be on my Christmas wish list.
This phone is great but they shoulf make the camera better and have something for g1 users to download a flashplayer because I can’t watch videos or play music.
