Consumers have been waiting some time to get their hands on a 3D printer, and the latest from Objet gets us that one step closer. The Objet Alaris 30 is a compact desktop 3D printer, which uses a peripheral with PolyJet Photopolymer Jetting.
This helps to produce 600 x 600 dpi objects up to 11.5 x 7.7 x 5.9 inches in size; this is a marked improvement over the 5-inch cube that was offered to us last year. The printer has the ability to manufacture small moving elements, which can be as thin as 0.0011 inches.
The build tray is of a generous size, which meant hat small cans can be printed simultaneously. Objet have said that the Alaris 30 Desktop 3D Printer offers 36 hours of unattended printing from your 3D CAD files.
