Nvidia launches graphics accelerator for Adobe Creative Suite 4

Nvidia have now launched a new graphics accelerator, for use with the Adobe Creative Suite 4. This new accelerator allows professionals the option of greater performance when users add graphics and visual effects to video.

The Quadro CX graphics accelerator plugs into the PCI slot of your PC, and will significantly improve the performance of CS4. The new hardware will increase rendering time, which is used in the advanced effects, this will then allow you to accurately preview what a video will look like with 0-bit color or uncompressed 10-bit/12-bit SDI before final output.

Nvidia are certainly stepping up their game, as they are now supplying the GPU for the MacBook and MacBook Pro for Apple. Quadro CX will sell for $1,999.
