Asus Eee PC turns one: celebrates by selling for $300

We would assume that the Eee PC from Asus has been around for years, but it has only just turned one. Normally when it is your birthday you receive the presents, but Asus are to hand out a birthday present to us.

Asus have finally dropped the price of the Eee PC to under the $300 barrier. The model that is benefitting from the price reduction is the Eee PC 900A, best buy have it on offer for $299.99.

The Asus Eee PC 900A has a 8.9 inch screen, and is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom processor and 1GB of RAM. Storage is in the form of a 4GB SSD and come installed with the Linux OS.
