Dead Space walkthrough and Cheats for Sony PS3 and Xbox

With the release of Dead Space just two days ago, already people have been looking for walkthroughs and cheats for the game. The game is on both the Sony PS3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360.

In just a few shorts days a list is starting to build up of walkthroughs as well as cheats, but do you really want to cheat yourself. Why not spend a little longer with the game first, no, ok I tried, keep reading then.

There are a number of walkthroughs all designed to make the game a little easier, here are just a few. Dead Space Unlockable: Impossible Mode, to unlock the Impossible Mode, you have to beat the game once, all of it on the normal difficulty setting.

You guys need to get a life. It’s this lack of critical thinking that continue to let game designers and artists make such flawed games like Dead Space. This game is not original, (System Shock 2, Doom 3, Doom 3, Resident Evil, and a game called The Thing released a few years ago are text book examples of pre-Dead Space games) controls sluggishly (snails move faster), has practically no character development (the characters in the game I really could not care less about), and it has poor level design (any game that requires you to die in order to learn how to progress is poor design). This game was advertised to death (comics, movies, 2 web sites, and an online contest to name a few), and you bought into that not a good game. But it does have gore and for that it is all the rage. It is scary, but gore is not horror!

If you think they have no life, then why are you writing a paragraph about the game, while it looks like they only had a sentence or two, and it was barely about the game. Stop being an angry old bitch Petey… I feel like I recognize that name… Whatever. The games awesome. Just admit it.

  6. Petey says:

Another fan boy speaketh. No, I am not going to admit that it was awesome and considering the flaws (as mentioned) I really can’t. However, I will have to admit this is the PC version. Maybe the 360 and PS3 are much better. The other day, my character kept sliding through the polygons of one of the elevators . I was stuck in the bottom of the elevator shaft. Maybe this is a sign, but this is not the first glitch I have encountered. Play System Shock 2 or Doom 3 and forget about this mess of a game.
Do you know a Petey? That would be a disappointed bastard not a bitch. The game is scary. I will give it that, but it is very hard to enjoy it.

Petey, you must have a crap system then. I’ve had no problems with this game whatsoever. No sluggishness, NOTHING. This game is one of the best I’ve played in awhile and half the crap you mention in your novel makes any sense at all. Sorry, but ur the one that needs to get a life, because it’s pretty freakin obvious that you don’t have one. Why do you think you have to die in the game in order to progress further? Is it cuz you aren’t resourceful enough to think things through, and that it’s not until ur character dies that you stop and say “OH, now I know what to do”. Well that’s all fine, we have all prolly done that, but it’s not required in this game that you die before you know how to progress. Think Petey, just think - while ur playing - it’ll come to you. And about it being advertised to death??? I disagree because I wasn’t even in the know about this game till the day it came out. I mean I heard of it but didn’t know anything about it. I just happened to be checking reviews on games and saw this one, then thought it sounded cool and went to get it. That’s all she wrote, i was then hooked on it. So dude, get a girlfriend or something and stop the drama. You seem like the type of people that have to just complain about something in order to get attention. This game rocks! Holy crap, I wrote a longer paragraph than you didn’t I? Crap, now I’m worried I don’t have a life. I’m gonna have to go address this - DAMMIT Petey!!! Get a freakin 360 and play it on that and then take all ur complaints to ur therapist!

  8. Petey says:

You have convinced me. I love this game!! Oh… wait. This game rocks! It’s wicked cooooooooooooool!! Awsesome! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Why did I think? Girlfriend? No way! She would just hog all my time, and I could not devote myself to Dead Space. Drool, drool, drool…..10/10

  9. Killex says:

Yeah, Petey, you must a be pretty italian to die in Dead Space. If you are playing on hard then I can understand it, but anything less than hard spoils that game and makes it too easy.
    For example-
Easy = So easy that you could probably ask the nercomorphs nicely and they would fall over.
Medium = Similar case to easy, however the necromorphs are slightly deaf and are required to harmlessly flail at you for a bit before they understand what you want, and then fall down.
Hard = This is the medium difficulty. If you can play this one then you probably have all the didgits on both hands. Congratulations.
Impossible = The hard mode. Dear christ, its really freaking hard. The necromorphs ask you to die, and you damn well submit.
So please Petey before coments on the difficulty of a game, consider that maybe you are a poor measure of how hard the game is.
Also, I am really struggling to find glitchs with this game. Not once have I had an incident that makes zero sense. Any time that I have seen something not work right is because I was deliberately screwing around with the games physics. So, any glitchs you are experincing sound to be an isolated case.
Also, I am sorry for this wall of text, but whiny bitchs like yourself inspire a hate so deep that I feel a sudden passion to vent all that is wrong with your statements.

I see what you are talking about Petey. And yes, I do know a Petey. But thats besides the point. I know I’m not a fan boy, because i love games on all of the different major consoles. Mario, Zelda, Dead Space, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Halo, Gears of War, Unreal Tournament. So there’s no way anybody can call me a fan boy. Cause there’s just no chance of that. I wont try to get you to like the game, because I know its all a matter of opinion, and what that persons gone through in his life to get the mind he/she has now. Have you done it on Impossible yet? I am on Ch. 5, and have only died three times. Have you even attempted?
