With the release of Dead Space just two days ago, already people have been looking for walkthroughs and cheats for the game. The game is on both the Sony PS3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360.

In just a few shorts days a list is starting to build up of walkthroughs as well as cheats, but do you really want to cheat yourself. Why not spend a little longer with the game first, no, ok I tried, keep reading then.

There are a number of walkthroughs all designed to make the game a little easier, here are just a few. Dead Space Unlockable: Impossible Mode, to unlock the Impossible Mode, you have to beat the game once, all of it on the normal difficulty setting.

  • jude fay

  • ghjkhgjk

lol that dude gets “crunk” and plays dead space instead of getting crunk at the bar with women

You guys need to get a life. It’s this lack of critical thinking that continue to let game designers and artists make such flawed games like Dead Space. This game is not original, (System Shock 2, Doom 3, Doom 3, Resident Evil, and a game called The Thing released a few years ago are text book examples of pre-Dead Space games) controls sluggishly (snails move faster), has practically no character development (the characters in the game I really could not care less about), and it has poor level design (any game that requires you to die in order to learn how to progress is poor design). This game was advertised to death (comics, movies, 2 web sites, and an online contest to name a few), and you bought into that not a good game. But it does have gore and for that it is all the rage. It is scary, but gore is not horror!

If you think they have no life, then why are you writing a paragraph about the game, while it looks like they only had a sentence or two, and it was barely about the game. Stop being an angry old bitch Petey… I feel like I recognize that name… Whatever. The games awesome. Just admit it.

  • Petey

Another fan boy speaketh. No, I am not going to admit that it was awesome and considering the flaws (as mentioned) I really can’t. However, I will have to admit this is the PC version. Maybe the 360 and PS3 are much better. The other day, my character kept sliding through the polygons of one of the elevators . I was stuck in the bottom of the elevator shaft. Maybe this is a sign, but this is not the first glitch I have encountered. Play System Shock 2 or Doom 3 and forget about this mess of a game.
Do you know a Petey? That would be a disappointed bastard not a bitch. The game is scary. I will give it that, but it is very hard to enjoy it.

Petey, you must have a crap system then. I’ve had no problems with this game whatsoever. No sluggishness, NOTHING. This game is one of the best I’ve played in awhile and half the crap you mention in your novel makes any sense at all. Sorry, but ur the one that needs to get a life, because it’s pretty freakin obvious that you don’t have one. Why do you think you have to die in the game in order to progress further? Is it cuz you aren’t resourceful enough to think things through, and that it’s not until ur character dies that you stop and say “OH, now I know what to do”. Well that’s all fine, we have all prolly done that, but it’s not required in this game that you die before you know how to progress. Think Petey, just think – while ur playing – it’ll come to you. And about it being advertised to death??? I disagree because I wasn’t even in the know about this game till the day it came out. I mean I heard of it but didn’t know anything about it. I just happened to be checking reviews on games and saw this one, then thought it sounded cool and went to get it. That’s all she wrote, i was then hooked on it. So dude, get a girlfriend or something and stop the drama. You seem like the type of people that have to just complain about something in order to get attention. This game rocks! Holy crap, I wrote a longer paragraph than you didn’t I? Crap, now I’m worried I don’t have a life. I’m gonna have to go address this – DAMMIT Petey!!! Get a freakin 360 and play it on that and then take all ur complaints to ur therapist!

  • Petey

You have convinced me. I love this game!! Oh… wait. This game rocks! It’s wicked cooooooooooooool!! Awsesome! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Why did I think? Girlfriend? No way! She would just hog all my time, and I could not devote myself to Dead Space. Drool, drool, drool…..10/10

Yeah, Petey, you must a be pretty italian to die in Dead Space. If you are playing on hard then I can understand it, but anything less than hard spoils that game and makes it too easy.
    For example-
Easy = So easy that you could probably ask the nercomorphs nicely and they would fall over.
Medium = Similar case to easy, however the necromorphs are slightly deaf and are required to harmlessly flail at you for a bit before they understand what you want, and then fall down.
Hard = This is the medium difficulty. If you can play this one then you probably have all the didgits on both hands. Congratulations.
Impossible = The hard mode. Dear christ, its really freaking hard. The necromorphs ask you to die, and you damn well submit.
So please Petey before coments on the difficulty of a game, consider that maybe you are a poor measure of how hard the game is.
Also, I am really struggling to find glitchs with this game. Not once have I had an incident that makes zero sense. Any time that I have seen something not work right is because I was deliberately screwing around with the games physics. So, any glitchs you are experincing sound to be an isolated case.
Also, I am sorry for this wall of text, but whiny bitchs like yourself inspire a hate so deep that I feel a sudden passion to vent all that is wrong with your statements.

I see what you are talking about Petey. And yes, I do know a Petey. But thats besides the point. I know I’m not a fan boy, because i love games on all of the different major consoles. Mario, Zelda, Dead Space, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Halo, Gears of War, Unreal Tournament. So there’s no way anybody can call me a fan boy. Cause there’s just no chance of that. I wont try to get you to like the game, because I know its all a matter of opinion, and what that persons gone through in his life to get the mind he/she has now. Have you done it on Impossible yet? I am on Ch. 5, and have only died three times. Have you even attempted?

  • Killex

    I like turtles!!!!!!!!

  • Xbox Dad

In response to everything said above, I think that I definitely qualify as having a life. (I’m married with two jobs, two mortgages, two cars, and three kids), and I think that Dead Space is one of the best games I’ve played in a very long time. I am sooo addicted to it, and about the only thing I can complain about is that I have to wait for the kids to go to bed before I can start playing!!

  • Petey

Xbox Dad you’re uniquely Merican, and I applaud you! It is addictive, it is scary, the graphics are very good, but it is not a game that deserves a perfect rating. It deserves a 7/10, but it does not deserve a 10/10. I have been playing video games just as much as other people; therefore, I am much more critical about games because I want the industry to get better not stay in the predictable rut that it currently is in. This game has been done before, and it hardly improved on the formula. Dead Space is good, but it is not perfect and reviews should reflect this. I probably should have left out the “get a life” part of my comment, but considering some of the replies that included such diatribes maybe it was a little accurate. Killex, your doing a bit of whining yourself, and I like turtles too!

  • Xbox and ps3 man

I love dead space. its the best game i played so far. I’m already on ch.10

  • Xbox Dad

I agree with your point about not wanting the games to stagnate, Petey. However, in my opinion, what makes a game truely great is the level of thinking required to beat it. That, more than graphics or storyline, is what makes it challenging and interesting. Take, for example, my favorite game in the whole universe: The Legend of Zelda. Earlier games left much to be desired for graphics, but made you think and solve puzzles to progress. Twighlight Princess brings all three together: graphics, storyline, and challenge. If only the Wii were hi-def… then it would be perfect!!!

  • Xbox Dad

    Oh, and yes…turtles are cool.

  • Anthr Xbox Dad

Yea Xbox Dad, i’m in the same page with having to waite for the kids to go to bed… Games good, Doom3 only better… Runs good on PS3 and X-box, not sure what peety had oging on. Anyway yall, it’s a good game for a single player game..

  • yugiRULER

I see where Pete’s going with this. He and I think the same. Game these days suck. Yeah they are fun, and people have fun beating them, but when was the last time you had a game where you couldn’t think of what to do next? I know for me there hasnt been one in 6 years. Ocarina of Time: Master Quest was the hardest for me.

  • Atsuisan

OK, can anybody tell me how to get passed the part on chapter 2 where you have to run out of the air lock and TRY to avoid the asteroids, i keep getting dismembered and I’m starting to get annoyed, there is nothing to hide behind, you can jump out of the way and you’re getting blasted from all sides.

  • Petey

If I remember correctly, there are things that you can hide behind. You just have to time it right. When you first start getting hit by the asteroids, jump behind one of the obstructions, wait for the asteroids to just about stop, then make a dash for the next obstruction before the asteroids start hitting again. It’s all in the timing, but I believe at the very tell end (before they completely stop falling) you make a dash for the next wall, and then you repeat the process until you get to the end.

  • HumanaMan

I PLAYED THE GAME A FEW TIMES IT DOES CATCH YOU BY SURPRISE HER AND THERE. THE GAME PLAY IT SELF IN ,Y OPINION PLAYS THE WAY A GAME OF IT STYLE SHOULD PLAY U HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE DESIGNERS TOOK INTO EFFECT THAT THE MAIN CHARACTER IS WEARING A HEAVY MINING SUIT, SO THAT EXPLAINS THE SLUGGISH MOVEMENT OF ISSAC. AND THW WEAPONS I THOUGHT WERE CLEVER SEEING AS HOW HE IS A MINNER. I THOUGHT THE GRAPHICS WERE AS GOOD AS MOST GAMES IN IT CLASS. ME IS GIVE IT A THUMBS UP.

  • STEVE MILES

GOOD GAME BETTER THAN I FIRST THOUGHT I REALLY ENJOYED IT 8/10
BETTER THAN SOME THAT ARE ON THE MARKET GRAPHICS ARE GOOD
SAY A GAIN I ENJOYED IT COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL MAN COOOOOOOOOOOOL………………………

  • Playstation 3 Owner

The only reason why Iwas happy with dead space was because its been since 2005 since we hada solid horror game (thats if you count FEAR in 2005 as that solid horror game) other wise any thing after the release of FEAR there really was not many horror games untill Dead space and i appreciate the fact that we get a good looking, decent playing game.So thanks EA i give it a 8/10 myself.

Um on top of that note EA was known to havea reputation to only making semi decent games, and seing the past of games like BF:BC and um Burnout, which were ok finally EA games made a game that got some really positive reviews. Good job EA! yah =[)

I know some of you may disagree with my EA semi decent game statement but what i mean by that is i findEA never made games on the same level as Resistance 2 or Gears 2.

    Any ways back to life…

  • W. Lopez
