By: Peter Chubb | October 16, 2008 | Leave a CommentApricot Computers are launching the PicoBook Pro netbook, if I could describe the little laptop to you so you would understand, just think Cloudbook. The PicBook Pro is an entry-level netbook, at an affordable price.
The Apricot PicBook Pro has been described as a sub-laptop; it has an 8.9 inch screen and has the option of WiMAX support. The small laptop can run on either Windows XP or Linux. Storage comes in the way of a 60GB hard drive, with a battery life of up to 4 hours.
The netbook comes with 1GB of RAM and uses a VIA processor, graphics and chipset. The PicoBook Pro weighs just 0.98kg; although the netbook is small the keyboard is surprisingly large. The Apricot Computers PicoBook Pro will be available from November 1in the UK, and will cost £279.
