New MacBook and Pro: first impressions
By: Peter Chubb | October 15, 2008 | 1 CommentApple have now launched the new Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro, but are the changes good enough to please buyers. There are a number of changes of both these notebooks; we thought we would point out just a few of these new features.
The notebooks have not changed much on the outside, but it is the construction that has. The case of both notebooks are made from high-grade aluminum, the MacBook is lighter and slimmer, with the Pro being just a little fatter.
Other changes for both Apple MacBook’s are more powerful CPUs and GPUs. The battery can now be removed, but it is the new trackpad that has got the most attention. The new trackpad is made from glass and does not have the usual buttons. Instead the whole of the trackpad is one big trackpad.
