Xbox 360 Experience: discounted hard drives and free memory
By: Peter Chubb | October 14, 2008 | Leave a CommentAs Xbox 360 fans wait in anticipation for the new Xbox Experience, there is one thing that they have not taken in to consideration and that is that it will take at least 128MB of storage to work. This leaves Xbox 360 Core and Arcade owners with a dilemma.
It looks as though Microsoft have thought about that, and are offering a Xbox 360 Memory Upgrade Program. The program offers free 512MB MU’s or a 20GB HDD for $20 to Core owners and a 20GB HDD + 3 months of Xbox Live package for Arcade owners at a cost of $30.
So if you do not have enough memory, then you can free up some space by deleting some unwanted content, or see if you are eligible for a free memory upgrade.
