RIM: BlackBerry Bold 9000 launches in Philippines
By: Peter Chubb | October 14, 2008 | Leave a CommentThe RIM Blackberry Bold 9000 has now launched in the Philippines, and Research in Motion are hoping that the handset will go down a storm, like it did when it was launched in Hong Kong and Singapore.
What makes the Blackberry Bold 9000 so good, is how it can connect to the Internet with speeds of up to three megabytes per second. This handset has not been made to try and take customers away from the Apple iPhone; it is aimed for the business user.
The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is being offered on Smart Communications for free with its postpaid plan of P2500 a month. The handset has a battery lifetime of 13 hours standby.
